We’re proud to announce our largest grant cycle ever—$30,000 in funding to support cutting-edge research in aphasia.
This year’s grant cycle includes:
- Two Barbara Martin Aphasia Research Grants, honoring the legacy of long-time advocate Barbara Martin, dedicated to supporting innovative research across the spectrum of aphasia
- One Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) Research Grant, made possible through a powerful collaboration with Outdrive Aphasia, an inspiring initiative driving awareness and action around PPA.
In light of increasing funding challenges across federal and institutional channels, the NAA’s direct support has never been more critical. These grants provide a unique opportunity for early-career and established researchers alike to pursue projects that could reshape how aphasia is understood, diagnosed, treated, and lived with.
Applications open now!
The application deadline is July 1, 2025
